'Kissing Coppers 2024' - Giclee Fine art print.

This was first stencilled by Banksy in Brighton in 2004.

I remember when it went up as it was the height of Banksys stencilling career. These pieces of art were popping up everywhere and I was excited to be able to go and see it in person. I saw it in person before it was sprayed over. But it was saved and had a piece of protective plastic put over it. It remains there to this day.

Im not sure what it is i like about it so much. I think probably the nostalgia of that time and remembering how it made me feel. Life was full of hope and wonder and endless possibilities. 

Its been 20 years since it was first seen so i decided to give it my own twist. I like the idea of adding a weathered layer of digital weathering, revealing the fossilised insides of the piece. Tainted by the snowballing of society and the infinite weight of technology.

I am only making 50 of these and they are signed and numbered.
